To determine the clinical factors affecting the development of cervical dysplasia in patients with HPV (the main group – with pathological cytological smears n=50, the control group – with normal cytological smears n=25). Patients of both groups, age 40.3±11.7 years, were examined by liquid-based cytology, HPV test, real-time PCR for sexually transmitted infections, complex bacteriological examination, colposcopy, cervical excision. Statistical analysis of the odds ratio identified factors that significantly affect the development of H-SIL: age, duration of the menstrual cycle more than 35 days, the presence of significant colposcopic lesions, endometriosis of the cervix, chronic inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs.
