Experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of biological stimulation of adhesiogenesis in residual pleural cavities

Data on the combined use of plasmolifting and lipofilling as a method of biological stimulation of adhesiogenesis in the experimental treatment of residual pleural cavities in chronic pleural empyema in 300 male rats are presented. Co-administration of autologous homogenized fat emulsion and platelet-rich plasma to rats resulted in a 33.4-fold reduction in mortality (p<0.001) compared to the comparison group without treatment (negative control) and 3.9-fold (p<0.05).
