The results of clinical and instrumental diagnosis of non-compression lumbar pain syndromes using puncture techniques in 841 patients are presented. The analysis determined the relationship of clinical manifestations and morphological changes in the vertebral segments. The use of invasive provocation tests and a comprehensive analysis of the degree of degeneration of the supporting elements of the spine objectifies the existing neurological symptoms and determines a possible method of surgical treatment.
