The research objective was to study the characteristics of the structure of lymphocyte population and subpopulation and the content of proinflammatory mediators in patients with uterine leiomyoma at reproductive age. There were examined 220 patients of reproductive age, 190 of them with uterine leiomyoma and 30 healthy women. High content of T-lymphocytes with Fas-receptors and a significantly high level of proinflammatory mediators (tumornecrotic factor alpha, β-interferon and C-reactive serum protein), the primary fibroblast growth factor on the background of an γ-interferon deficiencywere obtained in patients of reproductive age with uterine leiomyoma. The conclusion was made about the activation of factors of adaptive immunity and proinflammatory mediators in women of reproductive age with uterine leiomyoma.
