A study of the prevalence of CYP2C19*2 and CYP2C19*3 in the russian ethnic group of Stavropol Territory has been carried out. The total carrier frequency of the «slow» CYP2С19 alleles studied was 42 %. The results obtained may assist in making decisions on the use of pharmacogenetic examination for selection of the dosage regimens for CYP2С19 drug substances.
