To the choice of surgical treatment of cerebral angiospasm in patients with aneurismatic subarachnoid hemorrhage

The effect of selective intra-arterial administration of spasmolytic drugs (chemical angioplasty) on survival rate and quality of life of patients with aneurysmatic subarachnoid hemorrhage has been investigated. Introduction of nimodipine solution into the target cerebral artery significantly affected the outcomes in patients with aneurysmatic subarachnoid hemorrhage and was associated with better quality of life and better functional outcomes.
