In this article the influence of breathing techniques of self-regulation on spectral parameters of heart rate variability of 21 cadets were considered. For analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) hardware-software complex «Varikard» and the software ISKIM-6 was used. Quantitative evaluation of the autonomic nervous system of the cadets was conducted on the change of spectral parameters of heart rate variability. Breathing exercises used in our study had no effect on heart rate, however, led to statistically significant changes in the spectral parameters of heart rate variability. Dynamics of spectral parameters of HRV after exercise was characterized by a decrease of high frequency components (HF), increased low frequency components (LF).
