Erythropoetin and proinflammatory cytokines production against the undifferentiated dysplasia of the connecting tissue at congenital developmental anomalies of urinary system organs at children

The estimation of influence of severity level of nondifferentiated dysplasia of a connective tissue (NDCT) on erythropoietin (EPO) production, the tumour necrosis factor-α (the TNF-α) and interleukine-1β (IL-1β) at congenital defects of organs of urinary system in children with a vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis and ureterohydronephrosis of a congenital genesis was carried out. It was shown that the majority of children (73,5%) with congenital defects had average and serious severity levels of NDCT.

It is established that authentically higher concentration of INF-α and IL-1β and lower EPO associated with more serious severity level of NDCT. Negative correlation connections of EPO with both cytokines were revealed at patients with moderate/serious severity levels of NDCT. NDCT severity level at an obstructive syndrome (vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis and ureterohydronephrosis) is responsible for high concentrations of INF-α and IL-1β. The hyperproduction of INF-α and IL-1β is responsible for low concentration of EPO.
