The role of vascular disorders in morphogenesis of maxillary sinusitis of odontogenic etiology
The article presents the results of the study of the morphological and hystoenzimological mucosa and bone tissue of 65 patients with oroantral fistulas revealed after removal of the upper jaw tooth or endodontic treatment. Both in the early and long-term periods (up to 6 months) after endodontic treatment, deterioration of trophic tissue is associated
with an increase in the number of changes and, in particular, sclerosed vessels, with the subsequent degeneration of the structures and the general oppression of redox processes, metabolic disorders of proteins and polysaccharides.
