Immune status of patients with cervical cancer during immunocorrection using allokin -alpha and plasmapheresis

Patients with locally advanced cervical cancer underwent neoadjuvant treatment, including polychemotherapy, plasmapheresis and immunomodulatory allokin-alpha. We have studied the dynamics of the immune status by flow cytometry and ELISA. Results: the level of T-regs cells decreased in the cases of plasmapheresis with allokin-alpha application; while polychemotherapy resulted in the increased level of CD38+ T-cells. Content of the cytokines reflected minimal inflammatory and neoplastic component in patients after combination of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and plasmapheresis with allokin-alpha as indicated by lower levels of IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-8, IL-10 compared to patients of other groups. We consider it expedient to include efferent methods and immunomodulation by allokin-alpha in complex treatment of patients with cervical cancer.
