Connective tissue dysplasia (CTD) to date has attracted considerable attention among researchers and this is no accident. CTD quite often pathology, and its consequences can be quite serious. One of the manifestations of the DST is mitral valve prolapse (MVP), which can lead to arrhythmias and severe heart failure. The study performed has shown high efficiency of magnesium orotate application in the majority of clinical manifestations in patients with MVP, such as reducing the MVP depth, mitral regurgitation, size of the left atrium. There was a significant decrease in average and maximum heart rate (HR), number of episodes of tachycardia, duration of QTc interval, the frequencies of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular and supraventricular tachycardia, normalization of blood pressure (BP).
