Modifications of the methods for making of substituting postresection prostheses

Three variants for modification of methods of making post-resection substituting dentures on the upper jaw were proposed. The basis of laboratory steps for constructing such prostheses are internal (occlusive) and outer (artificial palate) plates connected by congruent surfaces. On the occlusive plate, through the creation of the internal valve in the form of a torus, repeating the configuration of the palate, a wax reproduction of the outer part of the denture with teeth is formed. After their separate polymerization the internal and external parts of the prosthesis are re-connected, plastered into a flask and then re-polymerized. A hollow prosthesis of lightweight type is obtained.
