The paper presents the results of a study of peripheral blood and myelogram in Wistar rats with physiological pregnancy and in an experimental model of hypercoagulability. The rats were divided into groups: 1–21 adult females - rats with normal pregnancy and delivery; 2 – rats with pregnancy and delivery occurring in experimental hypercoagulability (rats received 0.6–0.7 mg of methionine with restriction of drinking regime) – 21 adult females; сontrol group – 7 nonpregnant adult female rats. Animal subjects were researched in the day of delivery. Group 1 rats showed increase in the number of erythrocytes, thrombocytes and leukocytes in the peripheral blood. In myelogram the increase of immature erythroidcells, megakaryocytes and maturation indices is observed, indicating the increased red blood platelet hemopoietic stem and shows the willingness of the body to physiological blood loss during delivery. Group 2 rats showed an increase in the number of erythrocytes, thrombocytes and leukocytes in the peripheral blood. In myelogram there was a significant decrease in the intensity of hematopoiesis, indicating the inhibition of the compensatory activity of the red bone marrow in the amplification of thrombotic events.
