Patterns of growth of mass and body girths in children and teenagers of Stavropol

The patterns of growth of body weight and body girths were studied in 7883 children and adolescents of Stavropol aged 0 to 18 years. It was found that the most intense weight gain in boys was observed during the first six months of life, and in the second year of life. In preschool girls in the fourth year of life the first period of rounding was recorded, in preschool boys it is shifted by 1 year later. There was an uneven distribution of 7 periods of rounding, which were detected more often at school age, and were shifted in boys 1 year later. We determined 7 crosse values of chest circumference, with the first one recorded at 1 year of age, the second – at preschool age. Today’s schoolchildren are characterized by the development of processes of gracialization and leptosomization.
