The influence of environmental factors on the allergy morbidity of the child population of the Karachay-Cherkesia Republic

To improve prevention and timely diagnosis of allergies we have analyzed 2149 questionnaires of children with allergic pathology aged from 6 to 17 years, living in ecologically different areas of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkesia. We have discovered the association of allergies with environmental factors of atmosphere and urbanization. It is deemed appropriate to include methods of improvement of the environmental health indicators, rehabilitation of children in the view of complex influence of technogenic pollution and organization of long-term monitoring of child’s health in the regional programs for the prevention of allergic pathology among children in ecologically unfavorable territories.
