The study of the dynamics of the periprosthetic capsule formation after mastectomy and non-flapped reconstructions of the mammary gland in patients

This article provides information about the features of the periprosthetic capsule formation after mastectomy for cancer followed by non-flapped breast reconstruction milestone in different ways. The features of the formation of a periprosthetic capsule in patients who have undergone the authors’ method of one stage prepectoral breast reconstruction and its comparison with existing methods are presented. The frequency of occurrence of capsular contracture in various methods of non-flapped breast reconstructions is analyzed.
