Detection of gnathological triad index in patients with retention of permanent teeth by modern diagnostic methods

Complex diagnostics of gnathological triad index in patients with abnormalities of occlusion caused by retention of permanent teeth is necessary for evaluation of prognosis and choice of treatment approach. The spiral CT scan can accurately visualize localization of impacted tooth and adjacent organs of jaw. Computer geometrical and mathematical models can reliably determine the space deficiency in a particular area of the dentition. Axiography and electromyography help to prove treatment algorithm to further proper functioning of the masticatory muscles and mandibular joint.
