Hygienic assessment of nourishment and physical development of preschool children in Stavropol

The article presents the results of nutrition research and comparative analysis of intake of macro- and micronutrients with diets of children aged 3-7 in the organized and unorganized collectives of Stavropol with regard for cooking technology. Nutritional assessment of children was based on the study of 10-day-menu layout. In addition, the surveys were carried out among the parents whose children do not attend kindergarten.

It was found that the children who meal in a kindergarten with outdated technological equipment, and children whose nutrition is provided at home, do not meet the recommended standards of consumption.
